Textile major Mudra Lifestyle has announced that the weaving division of Mega Expansion Project (Phase I) has been completed and has commenced operation from March 19, 2009. Also, the company expects that the division of yarn dyeing and process house will be operative in the last week of March 2009.
The funds for the expansion were utilized from the Rs 1.77 billion IPO conducted in February 2007. The company has also started the work on Phase II of the project, including the civil work for Phase II, which will be operative in the month of September 2009, Mudra Lifestyle said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company has facilities for fabrics and garments manufacturing, processing, design development and sampling.
