In an attempt to strengthen its presence across India, fast food chain major Nirula’s plans to open 30 outlets in the next financial year. “We are planning open 25-30 new outlets across the country during the next fiscal,” informed Samir Kuckreja, managing director, Nirula’s.
“The outlets would be in all our existing formats, including express, kiosk, highway and standalone outlets,” he further added.
With 60 operational outlets across India, the expansion plan is part of the Rs 1 billion investment plan for four years announced by the company last year, disclosed Kuckreja.
The company had earlier planned to open its first overseas outlet in 2009. ” Discussions are still going on for expanding overseas but we will not be opening any outlet this year,”he said.
