Aditya Birla Retail Limited (ABRL) is set to open its fourth hypermarket, More Megastore, in Indore by the end of this month. According to the company, the size of the store will be 60,000 square feet which has been made extremely comfortable for the shoppers of Indore. It will be the biggest hypermarket in Indore providing free parking space for approximately 300 cars to its shoppers.
The average expected footfall in the hypermarket is estimated at 8,000 per day. Although all the major brands will be available in the store but special attention will be given to PLs (approx 60 per cent) in the product line.
ABRL with 640 supermarkets and with three existing hypermarkets at Baroda, Mysore and Aurangabad — today is one of the major players in the retail space in India. With the launch of the fourth hypermarket in Indore, it has further plan to launch more hypermarkets in the major cities in India and stores every month over the next four to five months.
