After its venture in the e-retail platform of footwear, bigshoebazaar.com now forays into organised retail format and opens its doors for customers in Goa, Bahadurgarh in Haryana & Guwahati.
Bigshoebazaar.com’s multi-branded retail outlets will not only have a huge collection under its roof, but customers can simply go to www.bigshoebazaar.com via a touch-screen kiosk in the outlet and can choose a pair of footwear from an array of international brands, says a company release.
“Our unique retail model offers vast choices to customer on one hand and helps the manufacturers in selling their inventories faster. We are confident about the success of the model and hope to set up a benchmark for the industry,” says Manmohan Agarwal, director, Bigshoebazaar.com.
Bigshoebazaar brings together 60 brands and approximately 10,000 designs from across the globe. Brands like Woodland, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Nike, Lee Cooper, Red Tape, iD, Adda, will be displayed in the outlets and can also be ordered through the website of Bigshoebazaar.com.
The three stores have been launched in Goa at Kamat Arcade, in Bahadurgarh, Haryana and in Guwahati at Dona Plaza Mall. The outlets are family shoe stores and cater to the varieties for men, women and kids in formals, casuals and sports.
In further expansion it would rather take a franchise route, according to the company. The first phase of expansion spanning over three years will have an investment of around Rs 200 crore to open between 250-300 retail outlets in the cities other than metroes, and in the second phase Bigshoebazaar.com will set out its footprint in the metros mainly along with the big cities, further informs the company.
