The outcome of the meeting of board of directors of Pantaloon India Retail Ltd (PRIL), held yesterday, has approved the re-appointment of Kishore Biyani as managing director of the company.
PRIL has also announced the appointment of Kailash Bhatia as wholetime director of the company and both the appointments will take effect on and from April 1, 2010. Further, in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange the company approved the continuity of Gopikishan Biyani as director simplicitor.
Currently, PRIL has 43 stores operational in 23 cities including Ahmedabad (three), Benagluru (two), Baroda (one), Bhubhaneshwar (one), Chennai (two), Delhi (four), Ghaziabad (one), Gurgaon (two), Guwahati (one), Hyderabad (two), Indore (one), Kanpur (one), Kolkata (four), Lucknow (one), Mangalore (one), Mumbai (seven), Nagpur (one), Nashik (one), Navi Mumbai (one), Noida (one), Pune (one), Rajkot (one), Siliguri (one), Surat (one) and Zirakpur (one).
