Max, a division of Lifestyle International (P) Ltd, has recently opened its store in Ghaziabad. The 10,500 sq.ft store is spread across two floors of Metro Mahagun Mall in Vaishali.
Vasanth Kumar, executive director, Max, said, “Max is currently the ‘largest’ value retailer in the country. We are the pioneers of value fashion retail in the country and aim to take our offering to customers across the nation, including all metros and key tier II and III cities.”
Sharing his views on the growth strategy of the brand, CS Shekar, COO, Max, said, “We hope to grow Max as a brand synonymous with the growing population of global Indians who are trendy and fashion-conscious, but at the same time intelligent shoppers who seek value for money. We hope our first store in Ghaziabad will be welcomed and as well accepted as our other stores across India.”
Max offers fashionable and competitively priced merchandise in the range of Rs.199 to Rs.599, making it affordable. The store ambience offers a global shopping experience with imported fixtures and customer-friendly layouts.
In India, Max has 28 stores across 15 cities including Ghaziabad, Chennai, Indore, Raipur, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Delhi, Agra, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Calicut, Mumbai and Nanded. It has plans to open 60 stores by 2011-12.
