Chisel & Hammer (Mobel) Ltd, formerly known as Living Room Lifestyle Limited, is planning to venture into new businesses.
The company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that under the guidance of its new CMD, Pushpesh Kumar Baid, Chisel & Hammer Ltd was planning to open a chain of electronic goods stores across metros and tier II cities. The company said the stores will be a one-stop shop and cater to customers looking for lifestyle electronic goods such as laptops, mobiles, audio and video gadgets and accessories.
Seeing a huge growth potential in the spa and wellness business, the company also plans to open centres in metros, followed by tier II cities.
As part of its plans to venture into the gems and jewellery business, Chisel & Hammer (Mobel) Ltd will also be manufacturing exclusively designed gold jewellery, which will be sold in the export market and within India, through EBOs.
Earlier, the company was primarily into the business of manufacturing and retailing furniture products and accessories.
