SNG Fashion Pvt Ltd has rechristened women’s ethnic wear brand FI as Fida. The first outlet of the brand with the new identity came up at Malhaar Mall, Indore. The 1,500 sq.ft outlet is the erstwhile FI’s 24th outlet in India and second in Indore.
“By changing the name, we are simply focusing more on our category of clothing, which is ethnic women’s wear,” says Sharad Nawalgaria, MD, Fida.
The company has robust expansion plans for the next few years. “We plan to have 100 stores in the next three years across the country and and bring latest fashion to customers directly. Fida wants to remain the most promising name in the fashion arena with an unmistakable leadership position in the segment. By the end of this fiscal, we will have 35 stores of Fida all over India,” says Nawalgaria.
Meanwhile, SNG Fashion has opened a store of Albeli, another women’s wear brand from the apparel house, in Delhi. The store is spread over an area of 5,000 sq.ft. Albeli, which stocks a range of unstitched and stitched kurtis and sarees, also has a store in Kolkata.
