Cinnabon, the US-based cinnamon roll bakery chain, is set to expand its footprint in India. The brand, from the house of Wadhawan Group’s Dish Hospitality Private Limited (DHPL), will launch its 800-sq-ft in the upcoming Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden, New Delhi. After marking its presence with two outlets in Delhi, and three in Mumbai, this will be Cinnabon’s sixth retail outlet in India.
Zayed L Kazi, manager–marketing and communication, DHPL, confirmed the development to IndiaRetailing. DHPL, which has plans to take Cinnabon brand across India, refused to divulge the investment plans.
DHPL, the food and beverages arm of Wadhawan Enterprises, has entered into a tie-up with US-based Focus Brands to open Cinnabon bakeries in India. DHPL has plans to open 150 takeaway and quick serve Cinnabon outlets across India.
