Bringing a first-of-its kind dining and entertainment concept to Chennai, Moistclay Entertainment and Media Pvt Ltd, along with its franchise partner The Moving Cart, has launched a double-decker mobile restaurant in the metropolis. The multi-cuisine restaurant, ‘Hijackk’, has an open to sky upper deck and a fully air-conditioned lower deck. It has a seating capacity of 44.
Hardik Shah, CEO, The Moving Cart, said, “Hijackk is a new concept of food, fun and entertainment for the people of Chennai. We will be serving a seven-course fixed meal including mocktails, soups, salads, starters, main courses, and desserts.”
The vegetarian meal will cost Rs.565, while the non-vegetarian meal will come at Rs.765. The menu will change every 15 days.
The company said for a start, Hijackk would take a ride of 30 km – from Blue Lagoon to MGM resort and back to Blue Lagoon. The bus will travel at a maximum speed of 40 km per hour and will cover the distance in 90 minutes. There will be two trips everyday staring at 7 pm and 8.45 pm.
Hijackk is already present in Ahmedabad and Surat. The company also plans to ride in to Bangalore and Hyderabad.
