Monte Carlo opens 150th store in India at Nasik

Monte Carlo, a knitwear brand by Oswal Woollen, has opened its 150th store in India at City Centre, Nasik. Spread over 1,200 sq. ft., this is the company’s second outlet in Nasik. The new outlet stocks cardigans, pullovers, Nehru jackets, trench coats, blazers, coats, track suits (woven as well as knitted), sweatshirts, pashmina and cashmere shawls, dresses, tunics, and shrug.

The newly opened store will also offer ‘Alpha range’ for women including tunics, tops, shrugs, boleros, leggings, jeggings, kurtis, and cardis.

Speaking on the occasion, Monica Oswal, Executive Director, Monte Carlo, said: ‘We are delighted with the launch of our milestone 150th store pan India in Nasik. With the launch of this new store, we are thrilled to offer the international trend and affordable fashion, which is our core strength, to the beautiful people of the orange city”.

Monte Carlo Fashions offers knitwear in around 500 designs for men, women, and kids. The designs of the brand are made from machinery imported from Japan, Italy, UK, and Germany.

Oswal Woollen Mills, the flagship company of the Rs 2,500 crore (US$ 520.80 million) Nahar Group, began operations in 1949 as a small hosiery factory in Ludhiana. The Nahar Group is an industrial company with a diversified portfolio including spinning, knitting, fabric processing, hosiery garments and knitwear, apart from infrastructure development and IT.
