Best Buy Mobile, the mobile specialty retail unit of Best Buy Co, has announced the re-launch of BestBuy.com/mobile. With added features, including online purchasing and instant shipping, the new online hub offers convenient, customer-focussed solutions.

Best Buy Mobile has spent the last four years changing the way people shop for mobile technology in its stores. The revamped website offers many enhancements that make it unique in the online mobile marketplace. Customers for the first time will have the convenience of purchasing a mobile phone online and have it shipped to their home or can pick it up in-store. For customers needing assistance while choosing their phone online, Best Buy Mobile has a dedicated call centre to respond.

“The capabilities within the enhanced site, in combination with our in-store experience, give Best Buy something completely and totally unique in the mobile phone marketplace,” said Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile. “Now, we are truly a multi-channel mobile phone retailer supporting customers when and where they choose to engage us.”

Best Buy’s website provides customers with a larger range of functions, including online purchases and instant shipping of mobile phones.

“We have built an online experience that provides an easy and convenient way for consumers to research and purchase mobile phones,” said Andy Heddle, head of online and direct sales for Best Buy Mobile. “If a customer wants to purchase the phone online and have it shipped to their home, we can do that and it will arrive on their doorstep ready to use.”
