Burger King, the American burger and fast food restaurant that recently made its foray into the Indian market, through a maiden store in Select Citywalk mall, Delhi, has unveiled a new outlet in Infiniti Mall, Andheri, Mumbai.
This is the fast food major’s third outlet opening in the country in less than a month’s time. The international fast food chain opened its first Mumbai outlet in Oberoi Mall a few days ago.
The fast food giant plans to open 12 outlets in India in the next 60-90 days. Burger King India will also actively consider starting home delivery after the launch of the first 12 restaurants.
With 13,000 outlets in over 79 countries, Burger King is the second largest chain of burger fast food restaurants in terms of global locations. Bringing its famous ‘Whopper’ burgers and interestingly different onion rings to India, the fast food chain will also be serving an interesting new vegetarian menu that includes the Veg. Bean burger, Veg Chilli Cheezos and desserts like BK Sundaes, Ice Bolt from Mirinda, varieties of lattes, shakes and softies.
