Ammi’s Biryani, the predominantly home delivery-led foodservice brand, is targetting Pune and Delhi as its next business destinations.
Ammi’s Biryani, which introduced the concept of biryani on-the-go in 2008, is funded by PE firm SAIF Partners and owned by Bangalore-based TMA Hospitality. In November, the chain entered Mumbai for the first time with the opening of six outlets within a week’s time.
“We will be 55 outlets strong in Bangalore by March 2015 and 25 in Chennai by the same time. We are at six outlets in Mumbai and hope to grow to 60 outlets within a year,” Navaz Sharief, CMD, Ammi’s Biryani told indiaretailing.
“We will be launching in Pune in Jan 2015 and would like to close it at 20 outlets by June 2015. Delhi is the next city for us,” he added.
