HAIR HOW-TO
Clean Top Knot
To achieve this look, start with washing and blow drying the hair.
Gel back hair and tie a tight pony at the top of the crown. Ensure there are no demarcation lines for a smooth slick back look.
Use a hair bungee to tie the pony, and gel the remaining loose fly aways.
Braid the pony and tie into a tight top knot!

MAKE-UP How to
Champagne Shimmer
To get a clean surface to apply makeup, use an eye primer from the lid to the brow bone.Then, use a metallic cream shadow base from the inner corner to outer edge of the eyelid, and draw a line with a black kohl pencil on the socket line. Blend carefully with black eye shadow, avoiding any smudging or smearing around the eye.
Fill the water line with black kohl pencil and smudge on the outside with a pencil brush for a Smokey effect. Add fake lashes and mascara the upper lashes to add more drama.
Lastly, shape eyebrows with a clean raised arch for a shapely and sculpted look
For a nude sculpted face, use a foundation shade 3 – 4 shades darker than your actual skin tone. Using a brush, start from the center of the ear and go downward towards the corner of the lip, stopping halfway at the cheek. Contour the sides of your nose as well to get a sharp chiseled touch.
For nude lips, line your lip with a lip pencil 3 shades darker than your lip color and fill in with a natural nude shade. This way, the drama of the sculpted eyes is focused on.
The Marsala Stairs
Wash and condition hair. Apply styling product and blowdry straight. Flat iron for a poker straight finish
Take a parallel section starting at the jawline and do a square cut, holding finger parallel to the floor.
Take another half inch parallel section, leaving a gap of 3 inches between the layers.
Follow through to the next section then finally, bring all hair from the back to the front and cut in the same fashion
Brush hair out.

Make-up how to
The Chiseled Pout
Apply foundation on your lips, as it gives a good base. This way, you can extend your lip line and shape, to make it look fuller and sculpted for those that have a thinner upper or lower lip.
Take any two intense lip colours of any shade – one dark and one light. Use the darker shade to outline the lip, and the lighter to fill in the centre of the lips. Blend the two to give a shaded effect – be careful to ensure the two colours don’t look starkly different, it is key that the two blend together for a rich colour and sculpted look.
Leave the eyes nude with lots of mascara and fake lashes with slight nude shimmer on the eyelashes for a touch of glamour
Apply pale pink blush on cheekbones
Double Hat Chignon
Tie an off-center high pony ahead of the crown so it is slightly tilted.
Insert two doughnut stuffings into the pony, atop each other.
Divide the pony into 2 and wrap hair around the dougnuts.
Leave a few loose hairs and curl them lightly for a messy finish.

Leave lips nude with a little balm for a highlighted look, leaving the focus on hair and eyes.
