Food services firm Jubilant FoodWorks has named Dev Amritesh as President & Chief Business Officer, Domino’s Pizza India. Amritesh was heading Dunkin’ Donuts operations prior to the new change.
Tarun Bhasin has been named President & Chief Business Officer of Dunkin Donuts India. Both Amritesh and Bhasin have been working at Jubilant and have been promoted to these posts.
CEO Jubilant FoodWorks, Ajay Kaul said in a statement, “This change of roles is a strategic move to help both brands – Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts – benefit from diverse leadership styles.”
“Jubilant Foodworks is in an exciting phase of growth and we have the right leaders at the helm to guide us through this phase of opportunity. Both Dev and Tarun are immensely experienced leaders with deep understanding of the industry and the ever-evolving consumer behaviour,” he added.
Tarun has been associated with Jubilant FoodWorks for almost 20 years and has held many key positions at Domino’s Pizza. His contribution has been instrumental in the brand’s journey to the top of the QSR market in India. Prior to being President & COO of Domino’s Pizza, Tarun served as SVP – Operations, responsible for operations, project and maintenance, training and business development for India. He has almost 24 years of experience in the food retail space having worked with Wimpy’s DAL Foods and Value Added Foods prior to his stint at JFL.
Amritesh, on the other hand, helped scale new heights in India between 2005 to 2011 before taking over the mandate to develop the consumer proposition for Dunkin’ Donuts in the country. Amritesh has, in a career spanning over 17 years, worked in the Home Appliances, FMCG and Food Service Retail sectors and has held key marketing and leadership roles. He is an Industrial Engineer and an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad.
