Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India, is the most health conscious city second to Delhi, says Flipkart; after analysing the shopping figures on their portal.
“With chart topping demand for air purifiers and fitness bands, Delhi has been identified as India’s most health conscious city followed by Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai,” Flipkart released a statement, quoted by IANS as saying.
As per the e-commerce company, fitness bands are more popular between age group of 20 -35 years. Products like air purifiers are on a priority list for age group of 35-50 years.
“In the last six months, there has been a huge spike in the average daily sales of health and fitness products,” said the statement.
Other health products on top selling list are Air purifiers of Kent, Eureka Forbes, Philips and Prestige, water purifiers, glucometers, blood pressure monitors and weighing scales. Fitness bands of GoQii, Fitbit, Garmin and Moov are more popular than other brands.
